Lenovo respects the intellectual property rights of other companies and individuals, having helped lead the way in fighting piracy in China. In mid-2005, the company began collaborating with Microsoft on an initiative to promote the use and benefits of validly licensed Microsoft® software products through new and innovative joint sales, marketing and training programs in China.
